MK Stalin is the most preferred choice for Chief Minister, with 27 per cent of respondents supporting him, according to a CVoter survey. In this survey, Vijay, the leader of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), followed closely behind Stalin with 18 per cent of the votes.
Leader of the Opposition and AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami was the third most preferred choice, garnering 10 per cent of the votes. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K. Annamalai secured 9 per cent support.
the survey results indicate a pronounced preference for Stalin's leadership, with his approval rating considerably surpassing that of other contenders. However, the emergence of Vijay as the second most preferred candidate underscores the growing political appeal of the popular actor, despite the fact that his party has yet to make a formal political entry.
Beyond leadership preferences, the survey also evaluated public satisfaction with the performance of the Tamil Nadu government. According to the findings, only 15 per cent of respondents reported being "very much satisfied" with the government's performance, while 36 per cent expressed being "satisfied to some extent". However, 25 per cent indicated that they were "not at all satisfied", and 24 per cent remained undecided.
Regarding MK Stalin's individual performance as Chief Minister, 22 per cent of respondents were "very satisfied," and 33 per cent were "somewhat satisfied." Meanwhile, 22 per cent indicated they were "not at all satisfied," while 23 per cent remained undecided.
